| Seasoned Chicken and Chicken Stock |
This Seasoned Chicken and Chicken stock recipe is Perfect for soups, and stews and great for occasions.
Ingredients:
1 pound Chicken or 1/2 kg Chicken (400-500g).
In a blender, blend:
Sliced Onions ( 2 large onions)
Garlic: 5 cloves
Pepper: (Optional. You can use it based on your personal preference)
Spring onions - A handful
Ginger -2 one-inch pieces
Salt: 1 tablespoon
Fresh thyme: 1 tablespoon
Dried thyme - 1 tablespoon
Oregano- 1/2 tablespoon
Basil- 1/2 tablespoon
Rosemary- 1 teaspoon
A glass of water - 3/4 cup of water
Blend the herbs and seasoning.
Pour the blended seasoning into a bowl and store it in the freezer.
To season Chicken:
Coat the chicken with seasoning.
Marinate in the fridge for some hours, if possible overnight.
To Cook Seasoned Chicken, and Chicken Stock:
In a pot;
-Add Marinated chicken.
-Pour some seasoning.
-Cover and allow to steam.
-Add salt to taste.
-Stir & bring to a boil.
-To ensure it's cooked properly, turn each piece (optional).
Seasoned chicken & chicken stock is ready.
It is perfect for soups and Stews
Also, this recipe is great for seasoning chicken, beef, and fish.
