How To Cook Gbegiri.
Gbegiri is a known Yoruba dish, served with amala and ewedu. It's a healthy, nutritious, and protein-filled dish.
300 grams of beans
125ml of palm oil
2 tbsp of crayfish
Salt to taste
Pepper based on your preference.
Instructions:
Wash and soak beans for 30 mins.
Wash, and peel to remove the skins of the soaked beans.
Once the skins have been removed, cook until soft.
Once the beans are cooked and softened, blend till smooth with about 500 ml of water.
Sieve (optional)
In a pot, pour in the liquid and add half a cup of palm oil, 2 tablespoons of crayfish, salt to taste, pepper, and 1- 2 seasoning cubes.
Allow to cook, Boil the liquid for about 15 minutes, storing often to prevent burning.
After 15 minutes, the gbegiri is ready.
Serve and enjoy.
