BEST BEEF Stock Recipe for Egusi, Ogbono, Okro, etc•SECRET STOCK RECIPE Africans Use For Tasty Soups

Ingredients :

1 pound of beef

3- 4 pieces of Stockfish

Salt to taste

Garlic powder

2 medium-sized onions (sliced or chopped)

Pepper

Fresh Thyme

Dried Fish

Seasoning: Rosemary,  Thyme, Ginger,  Oregano, Basil.

Instructions:

-In a pot, add all the ingredients:

- Beef, stock fish,  dried fish, seasoning; onions, garlic, and salt to taste. 

- Cover the pot and allow it to steam for some minutes. The beef will produce liquid, wait until the water dries out and pour in 1-4 glasses of water. 

            OR

-You can add 1-4 cups of water initially after adding the ingredients and allow it to boil

-Allow boiling for some minutes, or until the beef and stockfish is properly cooked.

- Stock is ready.

Serve with rice,

Drink as a soup

Or you can take it a notch further by using it as a stock for your soups e.g,  egusi, okra, or ogbono soups and stews
